Lafayette College is committed to providing access to and within its campus for individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Student requests for parking and transportation accommodations are reviewed by Accessibility Services on an individualized, case-by-case basis and based on documented disability-related needs.
A parking accommodation request allows a student who has already completed the yearly vehicle registration process to request an (alternate) parking location based on the impact of a disability. This accommodation does not exempt an approved student from Public Safety’s yearly student vehicle registration process, policies, and fees.
A transportation accommodation request allows a student to request medical transport services based on the impact of a disability.
To request a parking accommodation, students should complete the vehicle registration process. Once assigned, if the student would like to request an alternate location, please contact Accessibility Services.
The Lafayette College Area Transportation Shuttle (LCAT) is ADA accessible and provides students with a free, safe, and reliable shuttle bus service connecting the main campus with the Downtown/Williams Arts campus, college athletic fields, and student parking areas.
In the event that a student would need alternate accessible transportation based on the impact of a disability, a student can request to be placed on the Medical Transport list. To request medical transport services, please contact Accessibility Services.
