The EAP Placement Test is designed for first-year international students who are required by the college to submit TOEFL or IELTS results and is used to determine whether students need extra EAP support to have a successful career at Lafayette College.
Test Information
The EAP English Placement Test is sponsored by the EAP Center and is given during International Student Orientation Week*. Because the EAP Placement Test is a placement test used to accurately determine English language skill levels, students do not need to “prepare” for it.
Results
Results of the placement test will be available from the EAP center. You should use the link sent from Dr. Tingting Kang to your Lafayette College email to schedule an appointment with her to review your test results within the first two weeks of the school.
If you did not pass the cut-off score, you would be required to attend five distinct College Success workshops provided by the EAP center during your first academic year.
